I just realized I hadn't blogged for us in ages, or what feels like ages. So I thought, while I'm bored and here at work doing nothing, I'd play catch up.
As I'm sure some of you know, we're taking a hiatus from our weekly Bnr's and doing a Bns that either lasts until we fill all 16 open slots, or Dec 23, whichever comes first. Chris and I have been growing our various teams, My X Factor handmade team is now 110 members strong. The X Factor BNR team is 61 members and growing by the day. Our Treasury team has 113 fantastic members and Chris is busily inviting more peeps to the Big team, our original Vintage team, X Factor Vintage which is now 292 members large. So if you haven't joined us yet, now is as good a time as there ever was to join our growing X Factor legion!

It's called a Team
Our Team Bnr has been open here http://www.etsy.com/treasury/MTgzMzYzMTN8MTQ3OTYwODQwMg/openx-factor-all-stars-bnr-round-8-34?ref=pr_treasury&page=71#comments all night. And most of the night it was just me and Jenilee Hanging out, talking and sending convos asking people to come hang out with us. But a couple hours ago people finally started showing up and we had such a great time. We got two new team members on our board. A new Team Member from my home state of alabama bought in and their shop can be found here http://www.etsy.com/shop/HandaddysAttic. Then Tura gave one of her spots to Barbara, her friend from another team. Barbara has an awesome shop which can be found here http://www.etsy.com/shop/CanadianCraftCritter.
Sabrina came by and noticed that Tura gave our new friend a free spot and commented that on our team we go out of our way to help eachother. Which is what makes us the best team on etsy, in my opinion, and on a team, it's what you do, because, I can't succeed, unless everyone succeeds.
So now, I'm off to write my Bnr email to Chris and Approach him about the bnr/bns issue. Will keep you all posted about it, so tune in later!

Raffle Me Monday
Yesterday was the last day of Round Seven of our team BNR. It was also the best sales day our bnr has ever had. We had 15 sales yesterday, bringing our overall total to 206. I curated all day and made so many sales for our team. And then we did our raffle at 9pm cst last night and Cindy Kelley won the raffle spot! I know she's excited, heck, I was excited for her. So she's this Rounds Hot Spot and everyone should check her shop out here!http://www.etsy.com/shop/CKDesignsUS She has great items and ships super fast! Super Sunday
After the last two nights sad turn outs at our BNR, which can be found here, http://www.etsy.com/treasury/MTY0OTMyNjJ8MTMyMjU3NzYxNg/open-x-factor-hot-spot-bnr-round-7-24?ref=pr_treasury&page=78#comments Chris and I were very discouraged. As of last night we had 10 sales, which is just not enough sales to support a BNR. And we were again forced to consider shutting it down. Fortunately Jenilee of Walkers2011 agreed to curate for us today. Jenilee opened our BNR between 1 and 2pm and I using my laptop at work logged in and helped her to promote.
It turned out to be worth it as we had 14 sales today! Our friend Crystal Tadlock is going to get to reopen her main etsy shop this week! A couple new shops bought in and were quickly bought out. Cindy of CKdesignsUS bought in and was bought right out. And I got to spend my day talking to some of the coolest, nicest people I've ever met! The only thing I wish there was more of, and what I'm really going to have to push tomorrow is getting people to buy from our Hot Spot Teresa's Vintage because so far only Charmeleonsgifts and I have done so and that's just not enough of a challenge.

November 2011 Shops Of the Month
At X Factor we've started a new monthly contest for each of our three new teams. Each month the team leaders will be choosing one shop for each team to be the shop of the month. These shops will be choosen based on who's most active in our team threads, activities and bnrs. I will blog about each winner's shop here and Chris and I are giving up our Free spots for one week to the winners of the treasury team and bnr team shop of the month.
